CEED 2014

CEED Admit Cards 2014: Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is an all India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. The objective of CEED is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design, involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills

  • CEED 2014 examination will be conducted on Sunday, 1st December 2013 from 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs. This is approximately one week later than last year. Note that the Exam will be held in the Forenoon session.
  • The examination will be conducted in two parts, A and B.  All candidates have to appear for both parts. Part A contains only multiple choice type questions, and will be conduccted from 0900 hrs to 1000 hrs. Part B will start after that and will be held from 1000 hrs to 1200hrs. Part B contains design and hand drawing type questions.
  • Part-A is a screening test. Part-B will be evalulated only for candidates who will be short listed in the screening test. Only Part-B score will be used for the merit list and qualified list for CEED 2014.
  • Candidates must bring their own pencils, sketch pens, poster colors, and other drawing materials for the examination.No drawing sheets have to be brought.

  • The question paper will be in English. No specific text book or guide book is recommended for preparation. Candidates may however hone their drawing, rendering, and visualization skills.
  • Candiates should report to the examination center at 08:00 hrs. (one hour before the scheduled commencement of the examination) This is to record biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the exam. The photograph captured on the day of the examination will be printed on the score card.

  • The seating arrangement will be displayed on the notice board of the examination centre.

Admit cards will be available to download from November 1st, 2013 onwards

Date of Examination : Sunday, 1st December 2013 (09:00 to 12:00 hrs)
Announcement of Results : Friday, 3rd January 2014 (after 10:00 hrs)
